Commercial Roaming Manager

Job Description and Responsibilities:
The role is focused on identifying, negotiating, and managing commercial roaming agreements with global mobile operators, MVNOs, and roaming aggregators. It plays a strategic role in supporting LotusFlare/Nomad’s growth by optimizing partner relationships, pricing, and roaming capabilities.
The position requires coordination across internal teams (engineering, marketing, finance, pricing, commercial, legal) to successfully launch roaming services and improve partner performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partner Management: Assess business needs (consumer + enterprise) and maintain the right mix of roaming partners to support growth.
Partner & Project Management: Maintain relationships with existing providers, improve offerings, onboard new roaming partners, and support RFP responses.
Contract Negotiation & Management: Work with finance and legal to evaluate pricing, negotiate rates, and manage contract review and signing.
Cost Analysis: Analyze partner pricing, evaluate gaps in retail/wholesale pricing, choose optimal partners, and validate invoices.
New Partner Outreach: Engage with potential roaming partners, respond to partner queries, and recommend partners for onboarding.
Performance Management: Optimize costs and ensure strong performance from roaming partners.

Job Requirements:
6–10 years of international roaming experience (operator or eSIM supplier).
Strong network of contacts with MNOs and MVNOs, especially in the Asia.
Deep understanding of roaming products, wholesale agreements, economics, and suppliers.
High familiarity with GSMA groups and InfoCentre.
Strong Excel skills (business cases, formulas, pivot tables).
Fluent English and strong presentation skills.
Familiarity with eSIM standards and technology (preferred).
Digitally savvy, growth mindset, self-motivated and results-driven.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Economics or similar.
Technical Skills & Experience:
Experience with international roaming, wholesale pricing models, and agreement standards.
Strong understanding of roaming economics, supplier ecosystems, and telecom capability requirements.
Proficiency in Excel for cost modeling and business case analysis.
Knowledge of GSMA frameworks, InfoCentre databases, and roaming compliance norms.
Familiarity with eSIM technology, eSIM standards, and related provider ecosystems.
Ability to conduct pricing analysis, invoice validation, and partner performance assessments.
